 Jonathan Nikfarjam is the Managing Principal and Founder of Shield Commercial Real Estate. Over his brokerage career, he has received numerous sales recognition awards and closed over 100 transactions totaling in excess of $200 Million in sales. He was recognized in the LA Business Journal for “Who’s Brokering Los Angeles,” leading one of the top brokerage teams throughout the South Bay and breaking various sales records. With over 10 years of real estate experience, he is a licensed real estate broker and has also served as an expert real estate witness. Jonathan was also a panelist guest speaker at RealShare, the largest multifamily conference nationally, for the “The Art of Multifamily Deal Making” panel.


Jonathan specializes in multifamily investment sales in Southern California with an emphasis in the Los Angeles County and South Bay cities. By combining detailed submarket knowledge with macroeconomic trends, Nikfarjam has assisted his clients in developing concrete investment strategies to achieve their financial goals. He prides himself in his high level of specialization, commitment to service, and unmatched client advisory. He has completed numerous 1031 Exchanges and Seller Carry Installment Sales. Jonathan graduated from the University of Southern California with a concentration in real estate finance and corporate finance. His extensive knowledge of real estate capital markets has proven useful to his clients who have been successful in identifying the ways they can create and preserve wealth in bear, bull and stagnant markets. Although incredibly passionate about real estate, Jonathan spends most of his free time reading, playing sports and hiking. As a classical pianist, he enjoys playing Chopin, Bach, and Mozart. He is fluent in English and Farsi.
